In 2006 Ed became the youngest ever Junior TKM driver in the country, finishing 12th in the British Championship. He started racing at the age of 8 in the cadet class and the age of 11 he moved up to the jnr TKM class. 2008 sees him racing in the Junior Rotax category and back wearing the familiar #88 again
